About Pranamana

Prana is the Hindu term meaning "life force energy." Mana is a word of Polynesian origin that also refers to the supernatural force or power that resides in all things and gives life to the living. It is the stuff that magic is made from.

While both terms refer to the same general essence, prana and mana have slightly different connotations, with prana referring more to a spiritual form of pure energy, and mana expanding that concept of spiritual energy to convey a sense of "power," as in authority or respect.

Pranamana, then, means simply "life force power." Using the tools of sound, and the power of the spoken word ("mana"), "prana" (i.e. life force) can be utilized for better health, happiness, and wholeness.

Pranamana's offerings include affirmation chants, spoken in English with no musical accompaniment, and affirmations set to dance beats. Other audio will be available as well, including meditations and hypnosis audio. The offerings here will surely evolve and expand as new music and sound avenues are discovered.

Pranamana consists mostly of Stephanie, who sometimes has friends who contribute.
